How to apply

Get a jump start on your college education with our early college credit scholarship application. This scholarship is available to students attending an eligible Hawai‘i high school.

Complete the online application

Please have the following information available to complete the online application:

  • Student and parent information (including legal custody information)
  • High school attending for the school year 2021-2022
  • Number in household (immediate family members only, including any dependents)
  • Annual household income

Apply to UH

Apply to a University of Hawai‘i campus (both university and community college campuses are eligible).

For information on how to apply to a University of Hawai‘i campus, please contact the Admissions office at your school of interest. Mention you are applying as a high school student and intend to take courses for college credit

To be eligible for the early college credit scholarship, students must be attending an eligible Hawai‘i high school.

FAQ

Yes. Each UH campus has specific deadlines for admission. For information, please contact the UH campus you are interested in attending and mention that you are a high school student interested in taking college courses and would like to apply.
Award notifications will be mailed in late March.
After receiving your award letter, review and complete the documents provided in the mail. Enroll in college courses for the Fall term. Kamehameha Schools Outreach Support Services will begin contacting UH campuses in August to confirm enrollment and tuition charges. Once confirmed by the UH campus, awards will be processed directly to the school, beginning in October.
