KS Maui school reopening plan

We are excited to welcome our keiki back to campus, but concerns for the safety of our ‘ohana underscore the need for us to do so carefully and responsibly. Our plan to return to school relies on the ability of our kula and government leadership to assess community risk and implement different models of learning when necessary.

  • KS has established a comprehensive health risk system, split between low, moderate, and high, that allows us to shift our educational delivery quickly as health risk levels change.
  • When classes resume in the fall, we will be operating at the Moderate risk level in the Hybrid Learning model.
