Health updates: KS Maui

Athletics

Maui Interscholastic League has cleared all schools to begin workouts and practices. With this clearance, KS Maui athletics will resume beginning with conditioning for all Spring sports on Monday, April 5. Prior to participation, student athletes are required to submit all necessary paperwork, which include:

  • Athletic participation agreement and release form
  • Physical examination and health history form

Student-athletes interested in participating must have a parent or guardian attend ONE of the MANDATORY parent meeting sessions (non-attendance will result in student not being able to practice/workout).

Although this may not be exactly what we had wished for, we are excited to offer our student-athletes some sense of normalcy during this challenging year. We look forward to seeing our students back on the field and court.

KS guidelines for athletics

(Based on draft HHSAA guidelines)

Adequate cleaning schedules should be implemented.

Prior to an individual or groups of individuals entering a facility, hard surfaces within that facility should be wiped down and sanitized (chairs, furniture in meeting rooms, locker rooms, weight room equipment, bathrooms, athletic training room tables, etc.).
