Keeping our preschools safe

All Kamehameha Schools preschools are committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for keiki, ‘ohana and staff through the core values of aloha, mālama and kuleana.

In-person learning is the optimal learning model for preschool haumāna. Face-to-face interactions with their peers and kumu provide academic, social and emotional benefits. As a result, we have added multiple safety layers to protect the health and well-being of students and staff.

KS continues to closely monitor COVID-19 conditions as well as federal and state guidelines and requirements. We will make any necessary adjustments to our protocols as conditions change and our understanding of COVID-19 evolves.
