About me

Aloha kākou! ʻO wau ʻo Tory Watanabe. No Mililani mai au. Noho au ma Hālawa. I am excited to serve as our kula waena dean of student leadership & engagement and work towards creating a positive and memorable middle school experience for all of our haumāna. Prior to moving into my current role, I served as a 7th grade social studies kumu on Pūʻulu Koa and Pūʻulu Olonā. After graduating from KS Kapālama, I received my B.Ed. in Secondary Education from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. I am honored to have made my way back “up the hill” after teaching 9th grade social studies and serving as a class advisor at Farrington High School.
