Custodial information

Step 1

Gather custodial documentation for child
If this is already on file with Ho‘oulu, you can skip this step.
However, if there has been a change in your childʻs custody circumstance proceed to step 2.

Step 2

Mail or bring your document(s) to one of our community resource centers.
Once the information is received, we will validate Age and provide this information to the Admissions Office.

Ho‘oulu Verification Services reviews and determines the legal and physical custody of a child based on legal documentation prior to their participation to any Kamehameha Schools (KS) campus or program.

Ho‘oulu Verification Services will validate if documents to confirm custody status is already on file prior to contacting you.

If custodial documents are needed, Ho‘oulu Verification Services will work with you to have them submitted.

If requested, or you already know documents need to be submitted, or you would like to update us on your childʻs current custodial status, do one of the following:

  • Mail your documents to:

  • Email your documents to registry@ksbe.edu.
    Note: original documents may still be required and need to be mailed or brought  in person to one of our KS Locations.
  • Bring documents to any one of our KS Resource Centers located nearest you. We highly recommend you visit the Resource Center website prior to visiting, an appointment may be required.

Ho‘oulu Verification Services is a processing arm for Kamehameha Schools. Previously known as Ho‘oulu Hawaiian Data Center, we now support centralized recordation and verification services for Orphan, Age, Ancestry and Custodial information
