Middle school students Kaydence Lilio and Mahie Dean celebrate their mothersʻ accomplishments – achieving NBCT. Kaydenceʻs mother (high school teacher Lesley Pico-Lilio) renewed her certification while Mahieʻs mother, grade 7 English teacher Mrs. Sheila Dean, is newly certified. The students and the Kamehameha ʻohana are proud of these two kumu.
