Congratulations to our Track and Field team for a great showing at the HHSAA State Championships in Kona this year. Special congratulations go out to state champions Kaonohi Casco and Cody Gardanier. Cody won the state title in the high jump clearing a height of 6'3". Nohi was able to claim the state pole vault title with a staggering height of 15'4" which also broke a 28 year old HHSAA state meet record of 15'3". E hoʻomaikaʻi to both Cody and Nohi!

Māhele Luna (Grades 9-12) nā haumāna participate in the Maui Interscholastic League (MIL). There are 42 KSM athletic teams involved in 23 different MIL sports for boys and girls at the Varsity and Junior Varsity competition levels.

Māhele Luna (Grades 6-8) nā haumāna participate in the Independent Middle School League (IMSL), Maui Park and Recreation basketball league, Big Boy football league, and USA wrestling leagues

Māhele Lalo (Grades 3-5) nā haumāna participate in Maui Park and Recreation Leagues for basketball, volleyball, and track and field.

 In order to participate in KSM athletic programs, haumāna/makua must complete:

  1. The K-12 Enrollment Agreement and General Waiver on Infinite Campus (this includes the Student/Parent Handbook Acknowledgement);
  2. A physician-completed Physical Examination and Health History form (*physical exams expire 13 months from the exam date*) that is submitted to the health room; 
  3. Cognitive Baseline Testing and concussion awareness training (contact sports; for athletes 13 years and older); and
  4. Sport-specfic sign up located on each sport page

Haumāna who need the 6:30 pm athletic bus will need to complete the daily online sign-up by 2 pm from KS-issued laptop. Standby riders who complete the online sign-up after 2pm will be cleared based on seat availability and sign-up order. Further, a sign-up that occurs after 2pm does not guarantee a seat. Pick up will be at Pākī/Konia.
