Community Learning Center at Ma’ili

April 16, 2015

The new Kamehameha Schools Community Learning Center at Māʻili on Oʻahu’s west side is quickly fulfilling its mission of being the early education center for the region since opening in August.

KS has two preschool classrooms in the complex that it shares with seven other early education providers including HCAP Head Start, INPEACE Keiki Steps, Keiki O Ka ‘Āina Family Learning Center, PACT Early Headstart, Partners in Development Foundation, Pūnana Leo o Wai‘anae and Wai‘anae Coast Early Childhood Services.

A total of 245 preschool seats for 3- and 4-year-olds and 32 infant-toddler seats are available through the center’s programs.

KS photographer Michael Young recently captured the early learning in action.
