About me

Aloha. Here is a little background on who I am, as well as my education and teaching experience. I was born and raised in Kahului, Maui, where I attended Kahului School and Maui High School. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Education and Professional Diploma from the University of Hawaii at Mānoa and my Master’s Degree from National University. I began my teaching career in 1993 at Maui High School where I taught Social Studies. Since then, I have had stints at Kalani High School on Oahu, King Kekaulike High School and here at Kamehameha Schools Maui, where I have been the Media Arts teacher for the last 12 years. I am an avid health and fitness junky and enjoy going to the beach and the movies. I have 2 beautiful young children that I love spending time with every chance I get.
