About me

I graduated from Kamehameha Schools Maui in 2008. After high school, I attended the Brigham Young University of Hawaiʻi and graduated from there in 2011 with a BS in Elementary Education.Shortly after completing my undergraduate program, I moved to Colorado to be with my husband while he attended Pharmacy School. While in Colorado, I taught at a preschool and substitute taught at various elementary, middle and high schools in the area.In 2013, I moved back to Maui and began my teaching career at Kihei Elementary. I taught fifth grade there for three years. I also revived Kihei Elementary's Student Government program and served as the adviser for two years. In 2016, I relocated to Waiheʻe Elementary, where I also taught fifth grade.I have a three year old daughter who is full of energy and brings lots of joy to our lives. She recently began her first year of preschool at Kamehameha Schools Preschool in Paukukalo.I am honored and proud to be back at Kamehameha and to have the chance to instill leadership values in our students and help them create memories that will last forever.
